LUXURY CAMPING AT 49 HORNBUCKLE
ROAD, MAGGIE VALLEY, NC
Come camping in a 30’ camper nestled between the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Cherokee Indian Reservation at
almost 5,000 feet elevation.
Beautiful mountain views.
You can hear the roaring creek with numerous waterfalls just across the
road.
The camper is on a 2 acre site
for maximum privacy.
Just 2.2 mile gravel road off the main Highway 19 (Soco Road) is well
maintained & easily accessible. Snow can hit fast and unexpectedly,
therefore, 4-wheel drive is HIGHLY recommended during the winter months. Quiet subdivision with many areas for
hiking & nature walks.
Camper has full electrical, water & septic hookup. Queen master bedroom and two bunk beds sleep four
comfortably. Kitchen has propane stove & oven, built-in microwave, and
refrigerator. Air conditioning as well as propane heat (propane is
supplied). Enjoy a cozy evening by the fire pit (firewood is supplied). Large covered porch
off front of camper.
TV has a DVD and VHS player (no cable) and
a there is a stereo with cassette
and CD player.
Just 2.4 miles to the entrance of the Blue Ridge Parkway and many walking trails,
mountain biking trails, ATV and dirt bike trails, driving trails, mountain
overlooks and other adventures. Toward Maggie Valley 4 miles to Tube World and another 4 miles
up to Cataloochee Ski Area.
Visit the locals at Starvin’ Marvins’ convenience store just 2.2 miles
away. They offer all your last minute shopping needs such as beer,
cigarettes, milk, bread, etc., and they have the cheapest gas around! Half
a mile from Starvin’ Marvins’ enter the Cherokee Indian Reservation and follow 10 miles to
Harrah’s Casino and Resort.
Take a 25 mile, 45 minute ride to The
Great Smoky Mountain National Park in Cataloochee Valley. Arrive at
dusk to see the elk
come out in abundance to graze before retiring for the evening. Or browse
the numerous shops and have dinner in one of the cafés in quaint downtown Waynesville only 10 miles away.
Asheville and the
Biltmore Estates
are just 20 miles east. Horseback
riding, hiking, skiing, tubing, site seeing, shopping, and more
